HARDYSTON, NJ - The Sussex County YMCA will hold its 24th annual Golf Outing on May 20, 2026 at the award-winning Ballyowen Golf Club in Hamburg, NJ. Proceeds from this event will support programs and services that the Y provides for children, families, adults, and seniors in our community.
The golf outing will begin at 7:15 a.m. with a catered breakfast for all participants, and concludes with a cocktail reception in the pavilion, hor d’oeuvres, and awards presentation in the afternoon. Participants will also have the chance to compete in course games and win exciting prizes. Reservations to play golf or attend the reception can be purchased online at metroymcas.org/scygolf or by calling Alma Dhuyvetter, Corey Brown, or Edith Lynch at the Sussex County Y, 973-209-9622.
With the theme “On Course for a Cause,” this event brings the community together for a fun day in a picturesque setting all in support of the Y’s mission. Proceeds help to fund programs offered to the community including free middle school memberships, LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA program for cancer survivors, Y First physician’s referral program, and Safety Around Water Program.
“Every year, this golf outing makes it possible for us to say yes to the family that needs financial assistance, yes to the cancer survivor who wants to reclaim their health, yes to the child who deserves a safe place to swim. Last year, we were able to provide over $477,000 in support to more than 650 community members, and that’s only possible because of the generosity of our golfers, sponsors, and friends,” said Corey Brown, Executive Director of the Sussex County Y.
This year’s Tournament Sponsor is HQW Architects. Other major sponsors include Wallkill Group, Provident Bank, RoNetco, Your Diet Guy, Hudson Farms, Berardi Building and Perona Farms.
