HARDYSTON, NJ - The Sussex County YMCA will hold its 23rd annual Golf Outing on May 21, 2025 at the award-winning Ballyowen Golf Club in Hamburg, NJ. Proceeds from this event will support programs and services that the Y provides for children, families, adults, and seniors in our community.
The golf outing will begin at 7:15 a.m. with a catered breakfast for all participants, and concludes with a cocktail reception in the pavilion, hor d’oeuvres, and awards presentation in the afternoon. Participants will also have the chance to compete in course games and win exciting prizes. Reservations to play golf or attend the reception can be purchased online at metroymcas.org or by calling Alma Dhuyvetter, Corey Brown, or Edith Lynch at the Sussex County Y, 973-209-9622.
With the theme “On Course for Our Cause,” this event brings the community together for a fun day in a picturesque setting all in support of the Y’s mission. Proceeds help to fund programs offered to the community including free middle school memberships, Livestrong at the YMCA program for cancer survivors, Y First physician’s referral program, and Safety Around Water Program.
This year’s Golf Outing will also celebrate the Y’s 20th anniversary in Hardyston and honor the legacy of the Y’s past golf outing honorees.
“We’re excited to be able to continue the legacy of the Sussex County YMCA Golf Outing, which funds programs that are critical to addressing the health and wellness needs of the communities we serve,” said Corey Brown, Executive Director of the Sussex County Y.
This year’s Golf Outing is sponsored by Optimum. Other major sponsors include Provident Bank, Perona Farms, HQW Architects, the Macaluso Family, Your Diet Guy, Hudson Farms Foundation, RoNetco Supermarkets, The Wallkill Group, and Glenn Jones Insurance.
