West Essex YMCA Now Hiring for New Facility, Announces Job Fairs

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The West Essex YMCA, a branch of the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges, is hiring for its new 56,000-square-foot facility set to open in December 2026. The Y is seeking candidates across a wide range of roles, including aquatics, fitness, membership, and child care, to join the branch's founding team.

To meet the community, the Y will host a series of hiring events at the West Essex YMCA, 321 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, NJ, on the following dates:

• Wednesday, July 29, 2026
• Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026
• Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026
• Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026
• Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026
• Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2026

All events will run from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Prospective candidates are encouraged to attend to learn more about open positions, meet current staff and leadership, and, in many cases, interview on the spot.
