LIVINGSTON, NJ - The West Essex YMCA, a branch of the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges, announces the appointment of local resident Krystina Rosania as Senior Director of Membership & Health and Wellness. As a member of the branch's leadership team, Rosania will lead membership growth, wellness initiatives, and community engagement efforts that help people of all ages and backgrounds connect, thrive, and reach their full potential. She assumed the newly created role on July 13, 2026.

"Health and wellness have always been more than a profession for me; they're a personal passion. I'm excited to support our members on their wellness journeys, build new relationships, and become part of this vibrant community.”
Rosania brings extensive experience in health and wellness and a deep commitment to helping people achieve healthier, happier lives. Throughout her career, she has developed wellness programs, provided health coaching, taught movement and mindfulness practices, and led teams dedicated to creating positive and supportive experiences for the communities they serve.
Her background includes leading wellness initiatives, designing employee well-being programs, providing individualized health coaching, and managing operations across a variety of health and fitness settings. A certified yoga and movement instructor, she also has advanced training in nutrition and workplace mental health.
Rosania's appointment comes as the West Essex YMCA prepares for a transformational new chapter with the opening of its new Livingston facility this December. The new Y will expand opportunities for health, wellness, connection, and belonging. In her role, Rosania will help shape the member experience and lead efforts to ensure the Y remains a welcoming place where people of all ages and backgrounds can thrive.
